While I worked for Outpost Media I participated in tasks ranging from clip selection to putting together rough cuts for finishing. I also trained as an assistant to the Art director in producing and/or editing motion graphics for the finished spots. I worked personally on The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Divergent campaigns in addition to several of Tyler Perry’s Medea films as an assistant editor. I assisted in the process of re-editing older SD trailers with new HD footage. I also trained in the editing and use of motion graphics in several home video spots for projects such as John Wick and The Expendables 2. This is a representation of the work that Outpost does and has several projects that I participated in as an assistant editor/assistant art director.

This little musical was a lot of stress but a lot of fun to work on as an editor…my first musical actually. It was shot here in Logan, Utah over an intense two days.

This was my final film project before I graduated. It was submitted to a few festivals and Languish won best in Logan award in 2014.

Here is an example of some of my first work back when I started school in 2010. It was a learning process for sure. I gained valuable insight into the amount of work that goes into even a five minute short film.

I worked as a production assistant on this music video in May of 2012. It was directed by Mason Johnson and it was a great experience to work with such talented people.
